The New Stadium - First Tennessee Field

• The season may also be the last year for the Sounds to play at Greer Stadium, as the city recently confirmed the construction of a new stadium - First Tennessee Field - along the banks of the Cumberland River. Opening day at First Tennessee Field is tentatively scheduled.

• For now, though, Greer stadium will remain the home of the Sounds, and offers visitors plenty of amenties and fun for a day at the ballpark. Guests can head inside to the climate-controlled Sluggers Sports Bar & Grill, which broadcasts major league games on 11 televisions while broadcasting the live play action from down on the field. The grill opens 90 minutes prior to game time, so you can meet up with friends before the first pitch to get ready for the big game.

Ozzie is always happy to meet new friends, so be sure to flag him down when you see him prowling the rows of the stadium.
