With the cave spring as a backdrop, this statue of Jack Daniel - appropriately dubbed "Jack on the Rocks" - depicts a younger Jack and replaces the original statue which is now located inside the Visitor's Center.

For something a little unique, a little Tennessee, and a lot nostalgic, be sure to join in on the fun of the Jack Daniel's Country Tour.

Meander through the pristine Tennessee countryside from Nashville to the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee with the Jack Daniel's Country Tour.

Visiting the Small Towns of Tennessee

The tour will take you through the town of Shelbyville, where you'll see the famed Tennessee Walking Horse farms. Step back in time at the tiny town of Lynchburg, home to 361 friendly people. Visit charming little shops where you'll find a whole host of unique gifts and souvenirs. Lynchburg is also home to several friendly, down-home restaurants, some of which still feature plate lunches.

The Jack Daniel's Distillery

The highlight of your tour is a stop at the Jack Daniel's Distillery, the oldest registered distillery in the United States. In fact, the U.S. Government lists it on the National Register of Historic Places. Guides will relate stories and lore as you view the whiskey making process.

The Jack Daniel's Distillery is truly an exciting and unique experience. Here, you get to see it all. From the visitor's center which sits nicely alongside the Mulberry creek, showing off all the legend, history, and lore of Mr. Jack and his whiskey, to actually watching the distillery in action.

See the brickyard, where the charcoal used in the mellowing process is made. Visit Cave Spring that produces the 100% iron-free water used to make Mr. Jack's whiskey. Hailed as the ugliest, yet most revered building on the site is Mr. Jack's office. It was built right after he discovered the pure spring water in Cave Spring. Other areas you're privy to on your visit to the distillery are the copper stills, mellowing area, and all that whiskey lined up in barrels inside the barrel house.

Whatever your age, you'll enjoy a tour through Tennessee's countryside and a visit to the Jack Daniel's Distillery. Oh, and don't forget your camera!
