This architectural beauty stands at 206 feet tall, 236 feet long, and 109 feet wide. It's modeled after a Greek Ionic temple. Making the building even more intriguing, the famed Philadelphia architect, William Strickland, who considered the structure to be his greatest achievement, is entombed in the building's northeast wall!
  • Fort Nashborough is also on the itinerary. Located downtown on 1st Avenue, the blockhouses and stockade are a reproduction of the 1780 log fort. They appear as they did in the days when the fort withstood American Indian attacks.

Grand Ole Opry Country Music Show - Nashville
A Nashville trip is not complete until you have seen a Grand Ole Opry Country Music Show. A great variety of country music, wonderful artists in a beautiful facility. I will return again and would recommend this to anyone going to Nashville.

Grand Ole Opry Country Music Show - Nashville
We were a little disappointed. It seemed that bookings were very slow for the show we went to and they ended up calling in a group of kind of past prime entertainers. First half was still very good-but in the second half it seemed that they were stalling to fill up the time. We had company from Czech Republic who said it was his life long dream to see the Grand Ole Opry. Unfortunitly it wasn't so great--but they did enjoy the experience. We loved Johnny Reed.
