Grand Ole Opry Member Spotlight: Jean ShepardThrough her poignant lyrics and notable success, Jean Shepard has become a country legend and inspiration to women country singers throughout her career. Beginning her career in the 1950s, Jean found herself in male-dominated field but managed to become one of the prominent female country legends. Many of the songs Jean sung were direct and unadulterated concerning bad relationships and the ill treatment of women in them. For 1950s country music, Jean was indeed a controversial artist, but she managed to land a fulfilling career. From being a star on Ozark Jubilee to chart-topping singles and albums, Jean enjoyed success throughout the 1950s, -60s, and -70s and became an icon for country singers like Loretta Lynn, Jeannie C. Riley, and Wanda Jackson. Background and Early Career

Grand Ole Opry Country Music Show - Nashville
Really enjoyed ourselves which there would of been more information regarding parking costs and where to park.

We loved the Grand Ole Opry, it was the highlight of our trip. It wasn't about putting on a big stage production like concerts are, it was just excellent country music entertainers. Being an AI fan I was thrilled to see Kellie Pickler. She's so adorable. And Trace Atkins. Love his voice. Every entertainer was great from the oldest to the youngest.

Title
My family I really enjoyed the Grand Ole Opry. Our 9 year old and 4 year old stayed entertained with the music the whole time. Our seats were much better than expected. We were on the floor just a few rows from the stage. The only advice that I would give is to arrive about an hour early to avoid the large crowd and get a good parking spot, otherwise you may be walking a great distance.
