Growing up in a San Antonio house chock full of talent, Holly Dunn knew from the beginning that she was going to make it big. She toured with several band in high school and college and even sang at the White House Bicentennial celebration. With her big voice, big heart, and colossal talent, Holly Dunn has done her family proud.

Background and Early Career

  • When Holly Dunn was born on August 22, 1957 she was born into a family that went on to achieve fame in several artistic fields. Holly has held her own in this talented arena, with her singing, songwriting, and art.
    Before she was signed as a singer Holly worked as a staff writer at CBS alongside her brother.

Grand Ole Opry Induction

  • The whole family was on hand to see Holly Dunn be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on October 14, 1989. Holly's dreams were finally realized as she stood on the stage at the Grand Ole Opry. She had always admired Opry members, and now she was one of them.

  • Holly Dunn has received many awards for her music. She has three times been nominated for a Grammy Award, in 1986 she was awarded the ACM New Female Vocalist Award, and has also been give a CMA Horizon Award (1987).
  • Like her mother before her, Holly is now exploring her talent as an artist. Working mostly in pastels, her art is reminiscent of photography with warm colors and great textures.

Love it each time we go!
We have never been disappointed. We took our new son-in-law (his first time) and now he wants to go with us each time we go. Our entire family loves it. Always different and we try to attend at least every 3 months.

I REALLY LOVED THE GRAND OLE OPRY WHEN ME & MY HUSBAND WENT BACK IN 2003 .HE IS A TRUCK DRIVER & WE JUST STARED GOING OUT TOGETHER . HE ASKED ME TO GO OUT ON THE ROAD WITH HIM & I DID .WE GOT A CHANCE TO GO TO NASHILLE TN . SO WE GOT TICKET TO GO TO THE GRAND OLE OPRY. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN . I WILL REMEMBER IT TILL I DIE
