Country Music Hall of Fame
The Country Music Hall of Fame is a 37 million dollar structure that spans an entire block of downtown Nashville.

Fans of country music legend Patsy Cline won't be disappointed by the number of incredible landmarks, tributes, and sites dedicated to life and career of this incredible performer. True fans can spend an entire day exploring museum tributes, unique landmarks, and former homes of Patsy in order to enjoy a full-fledged Patsy Cline Experience in Nashville.

Exhibit at Country Music Hall of Fame

  • Patsy was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1973, just one decade after her untimely death in a tragic plane crash in Tennessee. The exhibit at the Hall of Fame and Museum includes biographical information about the legend, photos, records, CDs, and more. A unique display features Patsy's cigarette lighter (which plays "Dixie"), and the clock belonging to her manager Randy Hughes, who was piloting the doomed plane. The clock shows the time at 6:20, and is said to have stopped at the time of impact.

Exhibit at the Willie Nelson Museum

  • This exhibit showcases professional and personal mementos, including the watch Patsy was wearing on March 5, 1963 when the plane went down. It's time is stopped at 6:35. Other items at the museum include platinum and gold records, photos, costumes & clothing, and plenty of informative tidbits about Patsy's life and career.

Exhibit at the Opryland Museum

  • The living room that belonged to Patsy Cline and her husband Charlie at their dream home has been completely reconstructed at the Opryland Museum to include even the most intricate details. The living room includes custom furniture, wall adornments, records, and, of course, the early-1950s model television. See the small bar inscribed with "Patsy & Charlie," as well as photographs and other personal mementos throughout the museum. Other items include dresses, gold records, awards, and even a sewing machine donated by Patsy's mother!

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
The museum is terrific! I spent 5 hours there which was great. There was no food service available, just drinks-- so I finally had to leave for lunch. I wish I had arranged transportation through you-- that took another $14 roundtrip but I managed.

Definitely worth the cost of admission. We spent three hours explring the wide range of multimedia activities and exhibits and could have spent even more time there.
