Country Music Hall of Fame
Country Music Hall of Fame
The Country Music Hall of Fame is a 37 million dollar structure that spans an entire block of downtown Nashville.

Music City, USA, is the one and only home of all things country music, and around every Nashville corner lies a significant moment in the genre's rich history. Whether you've always been a big fan of the sound of country, or are just now learning to appreciate the words and melodies that strike close to home, you will appreciate all that this beautiful city has to offer in the way of music education.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

  • A must-see on your visit to Nashville is the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The grand opening of this 37-million dollar facility on May 17, 2001 opened up every facet of America's music for the world to see. The Hall of Fame Rotunda will overwhelm you as you find yourself surrounded by the bronze plaques displaying all of the Hall of Fame inductees. Inside the museum, you'll find a seemingly endless collection of memorabilia that will reveal the history of country music, and you'll be able to stop in at the museum's shop to find something to remember your visit by.

Grand Ole Opry

  • Don't leave Nashville without seeing a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry. No matter who is performing, you are sure to be entertained as you have never been before. Those southerners know how to do it up right! This live radio show has been running for nearly 80 years now, so come on and be a part of music history. The show is hosted at the "Mother Church of Country," the Ryman Auditorium, from November through February, and at the Grand Ole Opry House on Briley Parkway the rest of the year.

General Jackson Showboat Evening Cruise

  • For an evening of fun, consider the General Jackson Showboat Evening Cruise Show and Dinner. You will cruise down the Cumberland River singing, dancing, dining, and making memories on this paddlewheel boat. Depending on the time of year, you will witness performances that can rival even the best of theaters. Performance and shows rotate throughout the year, so be sure to check the General Jackshow Showboat schedule to see who will be on stage during your cruise!

We sat in the front row balacony which was perfect. Allowing us to switch nights made our vacation that much more enjoyable

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Lots of information, but I didn't have enough time to do everything, because I had so much planned. I want to return to listen to tour again and take better photos.

Ryman Auditorium Self-Guided Tours
The Ryman is such a beautiful and historical place to visit. We toured the dressing rooms backstage and made a recording in the studio. We attended the Grand Ole Opry both Friday and Saturday nights. WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!
