Troy Olsen At Grand Ole Opry Country Music Show - Nashville
Troy Olsen is a country singer/songwriter. Olsen grew up in rural Arizona, listening to country radio. The country stars of the '80s like Dwight Yoakam and Pete Anderson are some of Olsen's biggest songwriting inspirations. Olsen joined a band at 17 and spent a few years touring around the southwest before turning his attention to songwriting. Once he developed his own style Olsen's career took off, with big stars like Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, Tim McGraw, Patty Loveless, and Christ Young recording his songs. In 2009, Olsen signed a record deal and began recording and performing some of his songs himself. His debut album, Troy Olsen, produced two No. 1 singles, “Summer Thing” and “Good Hands.” Troy Olsen made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2010.
