Steel Magnolia At Grand Ole Opry Country Music Show - Nashville
Steel Magnolia is a country music duo comprised of Meghan Linsey and her fiancé Josh Jones. Linsey found success at age 15 when she landed spots opening for a few of country's biggest stars including Toby, Keith, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton. In 2004, she moved to Nashville to pursue her country music dreams just a few days after graduating high school. She met Jones while working as a hostess at a local karaoke bar. The two began dating soon after and started to perform together as a duo. Jones also started performing at a young age. Before moving to Nashville, he spent his time playing in hot Los Angeles clubs.
Steel Magnolia's big break came in 2009 on the second season of the show, Can You Duet, which they won. Shortly after winning, they released their debut single, “Keep On Lovin' You,” which peaked at No. 5 on Top Country Songs Chart. The song was the lead-off for their self-titled album released in 2011. The album ended up at No. 3 on the Top Country Albums Chart that year and sold approximately 28,000 copies during the first week of sales. Their other hits include, “ Just By Being You (Halo and Wings),” “Last Night Again,” and “Bulletproof.”
Steel Magnolia made their Grand Ole Opry debut in October 2009.
