Emily West At Grand Ole Opry
Bubbly, vivacious, and full of charisma are just a few of the words used to describe country singer Emily West. The Iowa-native set her sights on Nashville, barely waiting to toss her graduation cap in the air before moving to the country music capital. It didn’t take long for her to garner some attention, a month after the big move she had already signed a contract with the publishing company, Warner-Chappell. This first gig gave her the opportunity she needed to meet record executives eager to give her a contract. By unanimous decision, she was invited into the Capitol family.
Now, Emily West mostly tours and performs regularly at various songwriter events in Nashville. She has released two albums: Emily West and I Hate You, I Love You. Her hit songs include, “Rocks in Your Shoes,” “That Kind of Happy,” and “Blue Sky,” which she recorded with Keith Urban. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2008.
