Chris Carmack At Grand Ole Opry


Best known for his roles on the 2003 teen drama The O.C. and the 2012 country music drama Nashville, Chris Carmack is an American actor and former fashion model, only recently known for his beautiful singing voice. Chris has also appeared in many films, including The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations, Into the Blue 2: The Reef, Love Wrecked, Beauty & the Briefcase, and Alpha and Omega.

Although Chris is new to country music, since joining the cast of Nashville in 2013, he has been doing the research and has begun performing songs on the show. Chris was cast in the ABC drama series as Scarlett and Gunnar’s neighbor Will, a sexy and charming country singer and guitar player. The character initially appears to be a womanizer, but it is later revealed that the character is gay and trying to protect his image as a heterosexual country music heartthrob on the verge of breakout stardom.

Chris’s character Will appeared in the final six episodes of the first season and was promoted from a recurring role to a series regular for the second season. The song he performs in Nashville “What If I Was Willing?” is a popular singles from the series and is available on iTunes.
