The runner up to season four of American Idol was born in November of 1975 in the town of Huntsville, Alabama. Bice’s southern, country and hard rock sound gained him a place in the hearts of many fans, country and rock alike. He auditioned in 2004 as he neared his twenty-ninth birthday. His impeccable performances and daring song choices made him a favorite of both fans and the judges and he made it all the way to the finale. After American Idol, he signed to RCA Records and his debut single, “Inside Your Heaven,” made it to Number Two on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and Number One on the Billboard Hot Single Sales Chart.
2005 gave Bice three non-album singles, including “Inside Your Heaven.” His first album, The Real Thing was released in 2006 and included a Top 60 song of the same title. Some of his other singles include “U Make Me Better,” “Blades of Glory,” “Witness” and “You Take Yourself With You.” Bice has released three albums, his first of which reached Gold status and peaked at Number Four on the U.S. charts.
