Ayla Brown At Grand Ole Opry
Singer, basketball player, news correspondent, and American Idol semifinalist, Ayla Brown has pursued a many things since coming of age in 2006. She is the sixth leading scorer in Massachusetts basketball history with 2.358 points due to her career at Boston College. Before college, the basketball player wanted to try her hand at music. She was a semifinalist on American Idol, and her subsequent elimination lead her to release her debut album, Forward, in 2006. After graduating college in 2010, she garnered some media attention due to her father, Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown, winning the election. So she released her first Ep, Circles. Popular songs on the album include “Pick It Up,” and “No More.” In 2011, Brown made the country music career leap with a move to Nashville and began working on her debut country album. The next year, she released her self-titled debut album on the Ambient Entertainment label. Ayla sings the National Anthem for the Philadelphia 76ers home games. Ayla made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage on May 25, 2013.
