Mid-Winter Shag Classic in Myrtle Beach, SCJoin the Society of Stranders at the annual Mid-Winter Shag Classic on the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, where the Shag originated decades ago. The society was formed back in 1980 and is widely recognized for its yearly adult shagging parties that include the Mid-Winter Classic among others. This event started as a small reunion of friends and is now attended by 12,000+ members, they must be doing something right!
The Mid-Winter Classic includes special activities such as dancing workshops, live entertainment, contests and exhibitions along with free food in participating lounges at various times during the week. There are trams provided by SOS that run up and down the beach during peak hours to offer Stranders free rides to and from the lounges. Great Fun!
This is a wonderful weekend full of great shagging music and plenty of people. All the clubs are open day and night. Stay close by so you don't have to worry about driving and you can walk every where you need to go. Within a two block area you can enjoy all of it! The Ashworth is a great place to stay, or Ocean Bay Club. Elliot Realty has the best rental rates for condos. I don't care for the Ocean Resorts because the rooms are dark inside and poorly arranged. If you like to dance (shag) and like music, you can get all you want!!
