Low Country Artists Annual Exhibition at The Rice Museum in Georgetown, Sc

     The Rice Museum in Georgetown in South Carolina has an annual exhibition called Low Country Artists.  This museum has many exhibits that include different aspects of the rice culture.  There is the Browns Ferry Vessel there which is a 1730's river vessel.  There is also a short film called "The Garden of Gold" which is a retelling of the rice culture story in the county of Georgetown.  The gallery is in the building called the "Kaminski Hardware Building" and it includes a rotating art show.  The gift shop for the museum is also an interesting place to visit.  Museum tours are from 10am to 430pm Mon- Sat.  Come to the Rice Museum for this great annual exhibit called Low Country Artists.  Artist from the rice area will show off their talents. Bring the whole family for a great education about rice country. Call the museum ahead of time to find out the dates this exhibit will be offered.
