Cultures will converge together during the Canadian-American Days Festival, featuring a wide variety of special events created to help visitors from the north enjoy the Southern hospitality of Myrtle Beach. Events will include special live entertainment, competitions, beach games, community-wide activities, and more. Several large events are scheduled during the festival, including the National Shag Dance Championship, International Kitefest, the Little Olympics, a St. Patrick's Day Parade, the South Strand Wildlife and History Day, special tours, and concerts.
Popular Myrtle Beach attractions, such as
Brookgreen Gardens and the
Atalaya Castle at
Huntington Beach State Park, will be offering special tours for Can-Am guests. A kick-off celebration will be hosted at the
Myrtle Beach Convention Center that includes activities, refreshments, and information from more than 100 area businesses and attractions offering specials for the celebration.
