Le Bateau-Mouche 1-Hour Day Cruise

If you want to experience Montréal in a unique and relaxing way, take a day tour on the Bateau-Mouche. Le Bateau-Mouche is based at the Jacques Cartier Pier in the Old Port of Montréal. After a tour of the Old Port, you'll float past the birthplace of Montréal and the historic locks of the Lachine Canal. The boat then heads upstream against the rapids that stopped the first European explorers over 400 years ago. This gives passengers spectacular views of the elegant city of Montréal. Then you'll chart a course between the historic Ile Sainte-Helene and man-made Ile Notre Dame, all while shooting the Lemoyne Channel Rapids!

 You'll even get a glimpse of the Biosphere, a 20-story-tall geodesic dome designed by Buckminster Fuller for the Expo 67. You'll enjoy the island's tranquil greenery before heading back to the Old Port and the cobblestone streets of Old Montréal.
