This four day adventure in Moab, Utah gives you 28 fierce rapids, 100 miles of rafting down the Colorado River, and one vacation that you will never forget.

The 4 Day Colorado River Rafting Cataract Canyon - Favorite provides the complete Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park experience, as you get to conquer the rapids of Cataract Canyon and look for native wildlife and prehistoric ruins. Cataract Canyon features 28 rapids ranging from Class III to V, depending on the time of year. In total, you will raft 100 miles of river during this vacation.

Day 1: The group meets in Moab to ride to the river. Upon arrival, you will have an orientation about the trip and rafting, after which it is time to hit the river! The first rafting experience will take you on calm waters of the Colorado River. At certain points you will disembark and explore petrified wood and other natural attractions along the shore of the river. You will enjoy a picnic lunch, and then later in the afternoon, you will stop to set up camp for the evening. Tents and sleeping equipment are not included, but they are available for rent, or you may bring your own.

Day 2: Breakfast begins the day, after which you will pack up camp and head back out on the river. On the morning float, you will see ruins from the Anasazi Indians and enjoy the view of the Canyonlands National Park. After lunch, the real rafting begins as you come to where the Green and Colorado Rivers converge and begin the Cataract Canyon. After experience some of the rapids, you will break for the day, set up camp, enjoy dinner, and listen to the roar of the rapids.

Day 3: This day begins with breakfast and orientation on rafting the rapids. On this day's rafting trip, you will encounter the most intense rapids of the 28 in Cataract Canyon. After conquering the rapids. you will break for the day near Lake Powell, set up camp, and enjoy a dinner under the stars.

Day 4: The final day of this adventure begins with breakfast, after which you will enjoy a float across beautiful Lake Powell. You will even have time to swim if the water is not too chilly. After crossing Lake Powell, you will finish your journey at the Marina. Transportation back to Moab is not included.
