3 Day Cataract Canyon Express

The Cataract Canyon section of the Colorado River features 28 world-class rapids ranging from Class III to Class V, depending on the time of year, and you can experience the thrill of rafting this section on the 3 Day Cataract Canyon Express, with three days of beautiful Moab sightseeing and river rapids.
Day 1: The morning begins with a drive to the Colorado River from Moab. Once having arrived at the canyon, you will have a river orientation to prepare you for the rest of the trip. The first rafting adventure of the day is an easy float down the Grand Canyon of Canyonlands National Park. During the float, you will also get out the rafts from time to time to explore prehistoric formations and fossils. At noon, you will break for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will stop for the day and set up camp. Tents and sleeping equipment is not included, but it is available for rent, or you may bring your own.
Day 2: After breakfast, you will embark on another rafting ride down the river. You will also visit Indian ruins from the Anasazi Indians. After lunch, you will begin another rafting ride and reach the fierce rapids of Cataract Canyon. You will white water raft for the rest of the day until you break for the evening and set up camp and eat dinner.
Day 3: This morning of the final day will bring you to the most intense rapids of the Canyon. After a morning of battling the rapids, you will arrive in Lake Powell, where you will enjoy a scenic float and relax after your white water adventure. Upon arrival at the Marina, you will be ready to make your way back to Moab.
