Before embarking on a journey through Red Rock Country, visitors should stop in at the Moab Information Center to learn about the recreational activities and visitor services available throughout southeast Utah. The facility provides comprehensive information from the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the U.S. Park Service, as well as important weather and road information, essential for anyone planning to camp, hike, bike, or climb in the canyonlands.
Visitors can also find brochures and information for local hotels, restaurants, tour operators, and shuttles. The Center features interpretive displays of the surrounding areas, as well as a shop where guests can purchase guide books, maps, videos, postcards, and gifts. Although the Center is open daily, it is best to call ahead as hours vary according to the season.
