The longest of the maintained trails in Arches National Park, the Devils Garden Trail is a popular seven-mile hike that leads visitors under and around some of the most significant natural arches in the world. Along the way, hikers encounter Tunnel Arch, Wall Arch, Partition Arch, Double O Arch, the Dark Angel monolith, Fin Canyon and, most notably, Landscape Arch.
One of the most wondrous landmarks in the Devil's Garden area, Landscape Arch is a true marvel and the longest natural arch in the world. Only eleven feet thick at its thinnest point, the arch supports a span of rock almost three hundred feet long. A short, easy hike will take visitors close to the arch, but the trail leading under it has been closed due to falling debris. The Devils Garden Trail is a moderate hike with no difficult sections, but it does take four to five hours to complete the entire loop, including all side trails.
