Get two distinct impressions of the Canyonlands National Park near Moab with this heart-stopping, one-day adventure as you explore the Moab area by 4x4 and raft! The day will begin bright and early as you board a four-wheel drive expedition vehicles to head through the backcountry of Utah. Along the way, you'll stop to see amazing sites, including ancient Indian writings and prehistoric dinosaur tracks! You'll hear incredible stories along the old cattle and mining road known as Shafer Trail before getting a different perspective on the area! After lunch, the afternoon will be filled with wet and wild excitement with a rafting adventure on the Colorado River. You'll take on Class I, II, and III rapids through the remarkable amber canyons of Utah.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the marvelous bighorn sheep that call the area home! You may also see other native wildlife and birds, including majestic bald eagles.
Certified guides will have plenty of stories and information to share regarding the history of the area, as well as explaining the unique geological wonders you will encounter along the way.

- Tour departs at 7:45 a.m. from Moab office and returns to Moab by 4:30 p.m. The itinerary can also be reversed, with river rafting departure at 8:45 a.m. and return to Moab by 6 p.m.
