The 4x4 Excursion to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks is an exciting family expedition that offers the combination of a jet boat ride through the stunning Canyonlands National Park and a 4x4 off-road excursion through the picturesque Arches National Park. Thousands of visitors make the trip to Arches National park each year to see the magnificent landscape, dinosaur tracks, 1000 year old Native America ruins and writings, and enjoy undisturbed nature. Guests will have an opportunity to explore parts of the Canyon that can only be seen by river. Your captain will stop along the way so you can see historical sites, prehistoric ruins from the ancient Anasazi culture, geological wonders, and stunning scenery. Bring your camera for a short hike into the secluded Petrified Forest.
Novice adventurers with very little 4x4 driving experience and any fitness level can participate in the 4x4 tour. The ride is somewhat bumpy but not at all treacherous, and the rigs are air conditioned. On the guided tour you will learn about the fauna and flora. You will see the magnificent monoliths and balanced rock along the way. In the cooler months, you can stop and walk through some of the more picturesque areas of the park.
