Minnesota State Fair Grounds in St. Paul, MN is the host of the annual state fair. They have been bringing and providing entertainment and fun to the public for over 50 years. They are a self-supporting agency that makes their money and revenue from any activities and operations on the state fair grounds. They do not receive any public funds to help keep up the maintenance or to keep the place going. Their purpose has always been to be a showcase for some of the best talent in the are in art, culture and agriculture. Each year they bring some of the finest entertainment to their fair. You can come and see them perform in the grandstand or coliseum. Brad Paisley is scheduled to be one of their entertainers in 2008, so you may want to get your tickets now. You'll also get to watch their annual talent contest to see some of the new and upcoming talent.
Walking through the fair looking at all the 4-H and open exhibits is an annual thing for most visitors of the fair. Plan an entire day for this, however, as the Minnesota State Fair Grounds is a huge place. While you're doing this, you kids will love all the fun they'll have on the rides at the Midway and Kidway.
