If you are a soccer fan and visit the Miami area, you might want to catch a Miami FC game while you are in town. The Tropical Park Stadium in Miami, FL is the home place where they play in town. The stadium is part of the Parks and Recreation department of the Miami-Dade area located right off the Palmetto Expressway.

This is a soccer field covered in soft Bermuda grass just perfect for the Miami FC to kick some, ummm ball. The typical soccer season is from April through September, sometimes longer depending on the scheduling. The Miami FC is a fairly new soccer team and has some great soccer players who signed on from other winning teams like Romario, a player from Brazil who has played in the World Cup before.

The Tropical Park Stadium in Miami also hosts other games in the soccer off season like football and rugby. It is soccer however, that is slowly heating up the Miami area, especially after the Miami Fusion soccer team folded a few years back. Either purchase tickets online or call ahead for play times so that you can plan your schedule to purchase tickets at the box office early.  Adult tickets are $10 while kids 12 and under is $5. There is no assigned seating as the bleachers so it is first come, first served. Check out the stadium the next time you are in Miami and catch a Miami FC soccer game.
