Whether you are interested in history or not, the fact remains that Uxmal and Kabah are some of the most beautiful places you'll ever see. These Mayan strongholds have stood the test of time and are as breathtaking today as they were centuries ago. During your tour you'll see Uxmal, which was a Mayan ceremonial center. The architecture features resplendent carvings and moldings. The Pyramid of the Magician, Quadrangle of the Nuns, and the Governor's Palace will all be viewed. A side note about Uxmal is that it is one of the most archaeologically important sites in South America and is protected by UNESCO.

After spending time at Uxmal, you'll travel to Kabah. While Kabah isn't as large as Uxmal, it too dates to the Mayan civilization and is full of interesting things to see. One of the most popular sites in this area is the city temple, which has more than 250 Chaac masks.
