The Celestun Tour gives you an amazing experience during your Mexican vacation. This traditional fishing village is considered one of the best eco tourism destinations in the world for a number of different reasons. You will find exotic bird, plant and animal species existing in harmony, freshwater springs, the spectacular waters of the Pacific Ocean and more. The pink flamingos are one of the most popular sights in the Celestun area, as well. Your tour will begin with a complimentary hotel pickup, complete with a professional tour guide. As you explore the estuary, the flamingos fly just overhead, providing a unique backdrop for your enjoyment. Make sure you visit the freshwater wells, or "ojos de agua" along the edge of the estuary. These "eyes of water" make a great place to cool off in the heat of the day.
Your next stop will be the petrified forest, called the Tampeten. Here, you will witness one of the wonders of nature, wood transformed to stone by the passage of time and unique absorption of minerals. Finally, your tour will end at the spectacular beach in the heart of Celestun, where you will be able to play in the water, fish, or even purchase fresh fish and shellfish from the local fishermen.
