Rendezvous in Memphis, TN

Presidents, princes, rock stars, and regular folks all love the food at Rendezvous and keep coming back for more, making it one of Memphis' most popular restaurants.  This family diner has been in the family for generations, and it really hit its stride in the late 1940s when the founder found a coal shoot in the basement. That's when Rendezvous began serving its world famous ribs. Barbecue, sandwiches, shrimp, and of course those famous ribs, are just a few of the things on their large menu. Antiques, old signs, and other memorabilia adorn the walls of this down home eatery, so while you are waiting for your food and enduring the mouth watering smells, you have something fun and exciting to look at. Rendezvous is happy to welcome parties of fifteen to three hundred. You can, depending on the size of your party, be set in the main eating area, or upstairs in the more private party room. So if you are in Memphis and get a craving for great ribs, head down to Rendezvous. But be aware, it is not unusual to have several thousand people dine at this restaurant on Saturday nights.
