Explore the collection of metal artifacts and items dating back more than five centuries at the National Ornamental Metal Museum. Positioned on a beautiful spot atop a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the metal museum features more than 3,000 metal objects that range from contemporary American sculpture to utilities and tools from as far back as 1500 A.D. Europe.
You'll see incredible armor, impressive knives & cutlery, and much more. Traveling exhibits are switched out every 10 weeks, and have included such exhibits on jewelry, Renaissance armor, and more. The museum is open from Tuesday through Sunday, and features a beautiful picnic area overlooking to river to enjoy lunch during your visit.
