The Memphis Botanic Garden is an expansive collection of horticulture that takes up over 96 acres and features 24 different garden designs. The gardens showcased throughout the grounds are extremely varied and include an arboretum, butterfly garden, herb garden, rose garden, native Tennessee plant garden, Japanese garden and much more.
The Memphis Botanic Garden is open year-round, although May, June and September is when you have the best chance to make the most of your visit. In addition to being open year-round, they are also open seven days a week, though the hours of operation are cut back by a couple hours during the winter season.
