Owned by the Davies family for over 100 years, the Davies Manor Plantation is one of the oldest pioneer homes in the area. The two story home is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and is made of wooden logs and a clay mortar called chink. Visitors can view a short film about the Davies family as well as tour the historic home. You'll venture through many of the rooms including the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and entry hall. This home is a wonderful example of what a home of the early pioneers looked like. The home is also furnished with authentic furniture and decorations.
