Completely wrap yourself in the history of the Native American tribes of the Mississippi River Valley with a visit to the Chucalissa Archaeological Museum. The C.H. Nash Museum, complete with its various collections and actual research facilities, will provide an interesting look back in time, but the most exciting attraction of the museum has to be the reconstructed 15th century Native American village. In total, 187 acres of land make up the entire complex, complete with th museum, village and archaeological sights.
The Chucalissa Archaeological Museum is open Tuesday thru Saturday year-round, and open on Sundays from early March until the end of December. They are also closed on most major holidays.
