Traditionally held in New Orleans, this year's Ponderosa Stomp will be relocated to Memphis, TN. Don't worry though, this great two-day festival will still feature the same great sounds as ever. This great event will not only serve as a way to have a great time and enjoy music, but also help to raise money for the New Orleans Music Clinic and New Orleans and Gulf Coast musicians who've become homeless due to the tragic effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
As always, a wide variety of musical styles will be on hand for the festival, ranging from blues and jazz to rock and zydeco. Tentative acts scheduled include Scotty Moore, Dale Hawkins, Sonny Burgess, ? & the Mysterians, Billy Boy Arnold and Lady Bo.
