Africa In April is an annual Memphis celebration that puts focus on various cultures and regions of Africa over a four-day period along Beale Street. Arts & crafts, cuisine, culture, education, economics, fashion, history and music all come together to keep you entertained and provide an in-depth look into the various areas of Africa. Whether you're sampling native dishes, enjoying a live musical performance or coming to better understand other cultures through exhibits and experience, this is every bit as much an entertainment options as it is a way to mentally grow.

Founded in 1986, Africa In April continues to expand each year, providing a great way for people to come in contact with their culture and learn of others' culture as well.
