Memphis Cruises Entertain And Make The Mississippi Come To LifeFor those that visit Memphis with the hopes of learning the land and the culture, there may not be a better way to do so than on any of the Memphis Cruises that are available to you. There are so many sites to see and things to do when you arrive that you simply cannot overlook them! A good way to see them all is through a sightseeing cruise down the Mississippi River. You may even want to enjoy a meal while you do it! Some of the best cruise options available to you are those that are relaxing, fun and even tasty! Consider the Memphis Riverboats Sightseeing and Dinner Cruise, for example. For those that wish to enjoy a relaxing evening on one of the country's most important transportation methods, this may just be the best way to go about doing so. The Memphis Riverboats Sightseeing and Dinner Cruises provide you with a range of fun entertainment and a relaxing boat ride. If you are planning a trip here, plan to take this cruise! You have several options to consider in this cruise, actually. You may want to take a sightseeing cruise or you could choose a dinner cruise instead. There is much to see and do in either situation. Perhaps the best part about the entire cruise will be the boat you are on. It is an authentic paddlewheel boat which is a traditional style for use on the Mississippi River. There are many benefits of enjoying the sightseeing cruise down the Mississippi including the fact that you will learn about the history of the city as well as the river. You will see the bluffs in a completely different light. You will also learn about the many cultures and people that have used the river including Native Americans, riverboat men and even an explorer or two. You will see locations where the Civil War was fought and see the Memphis Pyramid, too. This cruise takes about one and a half hours from start to finish. Another way to enjoy the Mississippi River is with a dinner cruise. You can enjoy a wonderful meal that is traditionally Southern including foods like pulled pork and grilled chicken. A great dessert is always available, too. You will enjoy your meal, along with live entertainment and perhaps even dancing if you like. A live band is on board with you and a cash bar is also available. This makes for an exciting way to spend the evening and it could even be the perfect romantic evening on the water. The cruise lasts about two and a half hours. No matter which cruise you decide to take on, be sure to spend it with your loved ones. There is plenty to see and you will not be able to see any of Memphis's landmarks with this vantage point anywhere else. Take the time to book a few hours of your trip to Memphis on these Mississippi River Cruises. |

Memphis Riverboats Sightseeing & Dinner Cruises
We went on the dinner cruise. The weather was perfect, the scenery beautiful, the food was very good. A very relaxing atmosphere. It made for a great evening.

This was a fun trip. We did not have the dinner cruise but the riverboat captain was entertaining and informative. Great for our 1st time in Memphis.

We hope this tour never disappears from the scene. While we were on a mission trip to Helena, AR, we went in the Delta Museum and saw pictures of the cobble stones and other paddle boat info. It had more meaning to us having heard the narration from the boat. Also, we came back to Memphis allowing enough time for a meal at the Randevous (sp) Restaurant and a peek at the ducks at the Peabody Hotel. Both of these had been mentioned in Southern Living so keep up the good publicity related to the city.
