The Large Nightlife of MazatlanResort destinations in Mexico commonly feature an active nightlife; however, few cities offer quite the same fervor of revelry like Mazatlan. The choices for party spots in Mazatlan seem to be almost unending, offering options that are sure to appeal to a wide variety of visitors. The relative low crime rate in Mazatlan makes it a safe place to enjoy to numerous nightlife offerings. Valentino's Disco is perhaps the most popular disco in Mazatlan, located in Fiesta Land. Music includes techno, Spanish and hip-hop. The first floor is generally reserved for dancing, while drinks are available on the second floor. The high tech light show is a particular favorite. Doors open at 9pm and remain open until 4am. Bora Bora is the most popular outdoor beach club. The fun really begins on weekends around midnight and many clubbers make their way over to Bora Bora after 2am when other clubs begin to close. The 2,000 capacity bar offers two dance areas, elevated dance cages and a huge bar stocked with numerous different kinds of liquor. Remains open until 4am. Coliseo's Disco is located just south of Valintino's and is one of the largest nightclubs in the city. The club is easy to spot from its round shape, much likee the coliseum. Coliseo's features fabulous light effects and various music, including live band on the weekends. Open from 9pm until 4am. Mundo Bananas offers the chance to grab a bit to eat and then make your way over to a separate section for a tremendous amount of fun. Open from 8pm until 3pm. Bali Hai, a sports bar, is located in Fiesta Land right next to Bora Bora. Open from 9pm until 2am, Bali Hai plays techno, rock, pop and hip-hop music. Canta Bar, located next to Valentino's, is a karaoke bar featuring a stage and the option to requests songs. Open from 9pm until 4am. Mango's Restaurant and Bar is a great place to dine, dance or simply listen to the sounds of 70s and 80s music as well as Latino music. The DJ does take requests. Most of the fun at Mango's picks up after midnight. Open on weekdays from 11am until 1am and on weekends from 11am until 4am. Joe's Oyster Bar offers a wonderful seaside cantina, generous happy hour, and attached open air disco. One of the most flamboyant nightclubs in the city is El Caracol, offering four stories of laser beams, lights, video screens and music. If you are looking for something quieter and more relaxing, consider Mikonos or Bar La Terraza; both of which offer piano as well as great dining choices. Many international visitors like to check out Senor Frogs, where you can enjoy a true Mexican style nightlife atmosphere. If you're looking for something to do with the kids, be sure to check with your hotel as many of the resorts in Mazatlan offer kids clubs and programs specifically designed for young people. Many others also offer babysitting services if you want to go out and enjoy more adult themed entertainment. |
