Mammoth Mountain holds spectacular adventure for all who choose to come to it, wrapped in wilderness and lavished with views you can taste the natural beauty of wildflowers, ride through a beautiful canyon that has been carved years ago from a river or ride to the peak of Mammoth Mountain on a gondola where you will see the Sierra Desert in all its splendor. These gondolas are the same ones used by skiers in the winter skiing season. Mammoth Mountain is the area mountain that receives the greater amount of snowfall and the tallest ski resort in California.
The July Fourth celebration takes off in the Village of Mammoth, an oasis of luxury, extravagance and unique shopping experiences located high up the mountain. The celebration endures four days each year. Samplings of the activities include the Ben & Jerry Vermonster Ice Cream Challenge, special Village Sales, concerts, outdoor movies, various races and contests that are family fantastic, including the Rubber Ducky races, plus, amazing firework displays.
