The reenactment will be performed daily during this special time of historical importance, and the area of Fort Mackinac will also have a number of other events going on.
Each day, after the performance, tour Fort Mackinac to gain extra insight on this often overlooked piece of history.
This is the longest-running Memorial Day ceremony in the United States, featuring living history re-enactors, along with historical demonstrations to honor the area's past.
