Grafton trails traverse about 2000 acres in the wonderful tree-covered terrain of southern Vermont. These trails include snowshoe trails, backcountry trails, groomed trails, facilities for ice skating and much, much more. Fall colors attract mountain bike enthusiasts so the business is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through October. When the Grafton shop is not open, the Old Tavern provides bike rental service. In addition, dozens of children take part in the environmental adventure camps provided.
Winter activities are certainly among the top two or three activities that get the most attention in this region. Grafton Ponds Nordic Ski & Mountain Bike is prepared and well equipped to provide the equipment and guidance that visitors need. The ski center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to get the customer out to groomed trails. Grafton also works with snowshoe enthusiasts on 15 kilometers of distinct trails; snow tubing that provides downhill thrills; the ice skating rink is actually on a natural pond close to the lodge.
