The Albany International Airport services 10 commercial airlines and has all the amenities you would expect from an award-winning airport. This airport, set on 1,200 acres at the junction of Interstate Highways 90 and 87, has a 230,000 square foot terminal, parking garage, air traffic control tower, and cargo facility. The airport is operational 24 hours every day and has two runways.
The airport's terminal, built in June 1998, can accommodate up to 1.5 million enplanements annually. Inside the terminal, visitors will find shops, restaurants, a business center, conference rooms, foreign currency exhange, and video conferencing facilities. The airport has parking facilities that can hold up to 1,500 vehicles, plus the Airport Shuttlebus Service.
