Start off the new year with a bang with this once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Rose Parade as you enjoy a reserved seat to watch the glorious spectacle of beautiful floats, horses and marching bands making their way down Colorado Boulevard on New Year's Day. You'll also enjoy “The Glory of Christmas,” the Regan Presidential Library, and spend four nights at the Beautiful Hyatt Regency Long Beach Hotel.

Day 1- You will arrive at the Los Angeles, Long Beach or Orange County Airport no later than 1 p.m. Transfers to the Hyatt Regency Long Beach are included. As you settle in for a five-night stay, feel free to enjoy the welcome dinner that is planned. Later, you will travel to the famous, all-glass Crystal Cathedral for a performance of “The Glory of Christmas.”

Day 2- After breakfast, you will be joined by a guide as you are given a tour of Hollywood! While on the tour, you will visit such famous sites as Graumann's Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Then enjoy a great lunch at Lawry's The Prime Rib, where tasty prime rib is carved tableside. After lunch you will continue to The Getty Center with a tram ride to the summit. While at the Center, experience beautiful paintings by Rembrandt, Goya, Monet and Cezanne. The rest of the evening is yours as you return to the hotel.

Day 3- After another complimentary breakfast, you will have your choice of either a tour of Universal Studios (the entertainment capital of LA) or the Regan Presidential Library (were you will learn the history of Ronald Reagan's eight years in the White House). The evening is filled with elegant dining, dancing to a live band, and the fun and games of a “Monte Carlo” style casino. Then it's party time as you have a champagne toast to ring in the New Year!

Day 4- Prepare for an early morning as you have breakfast on the go and take your reserved seats for the Rose Parade, as well as a souvenir program and seat cushion. After the parade, make your way back to the hotel for a delicious Champagne Brunch Buffet. The rest of the day is yours to take advantage of the many attractions located in and around the hotel.

Day 5- After breakfast, head back to Pasadena for a close up look at the parade floats. This afternoon you have a choice between a Guided Tour of the Crystal Cathedral or a visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Tonight you will have a farewell dinner, followed by a night of entertainment.

Day 6- When you're done with your last breakfast, you will bid farewell to California as you transfer to  Los Angeles, Long Beach or Orange County airport. You will return home with memories that you will cherish for a lifetime!
