Designed by famed architect Frank Gehry, the exterior of the Walt Disney Concert Hall is just about as exciting as the performances that go on inside. Faced almost entirely in stainless steel, the graceful curves and unusual formations of the Concert Hall's buildings present visitors with an eyeful of shiny, mesmerizing architectural design that is sure to become a landmark in Los Angeles.
The Concert Hall is the new home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and presents a full schedule of concerts in what is one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world. In addition to the Philharmonic, the Concert Hall presents programs of baroque, jazz, chamber, and world music as well as organ recitals and youth symphonies. Visitors can choose from several excellent dining options, from the stylish Concert Hall Café to the gourmet delights of the Patina restaurant. The venue offers guided tours and free lectures through its Urban Garden Talks program.
