Built in 1926, the Henry Fonda Music Box Theatre has presented musical revues, theatre, radio, and film productions and has hosted such legendary performers as Fannie Brice, Marlene Dietrich, and Gary Cooper. Now a venue for everything from large-scale concerts to intimate gatherings, the Music Box is an entertainment complex comprised of several different spaces, one more beautiful than the other.
The Mainroom and Stage Area are host to concerts and offer a charming cabaret-style setting, while the Rooftop Terrace offers an airy space for smaller events and a splendid view of Hollywood, and the Balcony presents film and theatre performances in its 300-seat theatre. Visitors can enjoy great food and a relaxing atmosphere at the Blue Palms Hollywood, a tapas-style café and lounge. A particularly nice feature is that concerts are projected on a large screen so that guests may wander from the concert hall to the outdoor terrace without missing a thing.
