The reigning champion Pittsburgh Steelers will be visiting the Oakland Raiders during the midseason of the NFL. And while the Raiders of today are far from intimidating on field, their field still houses some of the most raucous fans in NFL history. Randy Moss is still in Oakland, but with a weak quarterback protected by a weak offensive line, Moss has to muster every molecule of talent he has to simply come away with a standard game. Defensively, the Raiders have lost two crucial pieces in Ted Washington and Charles Woodson, only adding to their agony.
On the plus side of this, those attending the game will get the chance to experience Super Bowl caliber football as the Steelers show how things are to be done on the gridiron. The quick scare they suffered from Ben Roethlisberger's motorcycle wreck is a thing of the past, and this team looks to be nearly as solid as last season. Coupled with the chance to see the Raiders' Moss play, this game may be one-sided, but should be a fun experience all the same.
