Puppet Up! is a continually-running show at the Avalon Hollywood theater in Los Angeles, California. This is not a puppet show for kids - the world renowned puppeteers of the Jim Henson Company put on a puppet show for adults rife with raunchy language, dirty jokes and side-splitting humor. The show was born when the Henson puppeteers started taking workshops to improve their comedic skills, and ended up creating a comedy group called "Henson Alternative." This comedy group gives these puppeteers an outlet away from Sesame Street and the Muppets where they can have fun with more mature humor.

Fortunately, audiences now get to share in this comedic boon. Attendees of the show will get to see a bunch of puppets talk, sing, and dance about what their real lives are like when they aren't performing for a kids' show. This show has been praised by many Los Angeles newspapers and magazines by reviewers who are blown away by the puppeteers' comedic improv skills and top-notch puppet handling skills.
