The raucous Raiders will take on the new-look Cardinals as both teams look to rise from mediocricy .Unfortunately, the recent addition of Aaron Brooks won't help the Raiders in rising up. Brooks was riddled with on-field decision problems in the past, and things don't look to turn around for his career anytime soon. He'll have a big game player in Moss to look to, but not even Moss' ability looks to be able to save the day.
On the flip side, the Cardinals, once the lowly team of the NFL, have amassed a fortune on offense. The recent draft of quarterback Matt Leinart provides them with a proven leader at the helm, and the recent acquisition of Edgerin James offers a truly powerful run game that can help open up the offense. Along with a crew of talented, young receivers, the Cardinals may just make this their break out season, and are certainly looking to control things on October 22nd against the Raiders.
