However, in 1995 Los Angeles lost two of its most promising children, as the Rams moved to Anaheim and the Raiders moved back to Oakland. As of early 2008, there remains no NFL team currently representing Los Angeles. However, there has been heavy interest from both the NFL and individual NFL owners to relocate a team to this big name city. There has been interest expressed in relocating from the Seattle SeaHawks, however making that notion a reality has proven difficult. NFL experts predict that it's only a matter of time before Los Angeles returns to the league represented through an expansion team or relocation.
