This popular Long Beach aquarium is filled with exciting exhibits, hands-on experiences, and interesting shows that the whole family will enjoy on your trip to the area. You will learn about a wide range of animals, from those that live locally in the warm waters off the coast of southern California to those that live in the frigid waters of the North Pacific. You can observe a variety of shark species, and even touch one if you are courageous enough. You will be mesmerized by the brightly colored tropical fish swimming in and out of the coral reefs. The aquarium also features animals that live above the water in the marine environment, including a variety of marine birds.
