The history of Atomic Bomb Testing in Southern Nevada, as well as the overall story of nuclear weapons in the world is chronicled at the Atomic Testing Musem housed in the Frank H. Rogers Science and Technology Building. You actually get to experience what it would be like to witness an aboveground bomb test, play around with tools used to handle radioactive material plus watch film from the era. There are also plenty of nostalgic items in the collection that show the influence nuclear warfare had on the world from the 1950's to the 1990's.
