Walk with the Heart of a Child at the Fashion Show Mall, Las Vegas, NV

Every February, the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts an annual "Walk With the Heart of a Child" fundraiser, a group walk event that raises money for Nevada families whose children suffer from heart disease. To participate, one can register online ahead of time, set up a personalized webpage on the charity's site, and then email the page to friends and family to raise money. The event has raised upwards of $200,000 in past years for local kids with heart problems.

Participants can sign up as individuals or as a team. On the day of the event, walkers sign in at 7AM and the walk around the mall and Las Vegas starts at 8AM. At 9AM everyone convenes back at the mall for a breakfast celebration and presentation of the raised funds to a representative from the Walk With the Heart of a Child charity.
